There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however participants are required to have or obtain sufficient Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital skills, have the physical capacity to work as an individual support worker and have a positive and caring attitude in working with people who require care services and assistance. Students must be willing to undertake a National Police Clearance in order participate in un-paid work placement activities for a minimum of 120 hours.
