Terms and Conditions

Country Hospitality Services philosophy encompasses first class customer service and the delivery of premium quality services to all our clients.

We are committed to providing you with quality training and assessment and assisting you in furthering your chosen career and reaching personal goals. To achieve this, a partnership is formed with the Trainers and Trainees and all parties are expected to adhere to the following terms and conditions. Students Rights and Responsibilities

Students’ Rights

Country Hospitality Services recognizes that students have the right to:
  • Expect CHS to provide training of a high quality that recognises and appreciates their individual learning styles and needs.
  • Have access to all CHS Services regardless of educational background, gender, marital status, sexual preference, race, colour, pregnancy, national origin, ethnic or socioeconomic background, physical or intellectual impairment, and religious or political affiliation.
  • Have their prior learning, acquired competencies, and experience appropriately recognised in determining their requirements for training and assessment.
  • Be advised of the learning outcomes and prescribed assessment tasks for the training program of their choice prior to its commencement. Appeal for a review of the results of an assessment.
  • Expect to achieve the published learning outcomes from their training program, if they, in turn, devote the necessary time and diligence to it.
  • Learn from fully qualified, competent and diligent trainers who observe their responsibility to address students’ learning needs, assist them to achieve the course outcomes, and assess their students work fairly.
  • Learn in an appropriately appointed, safe and clean learning environment, free of all forms of harassment and discrimination.
  • Be treated with dignity and fairness.
  • Expect that we will be ethical and open in our dealings, our communications and our advertising.
  • Expect that we will observe our duty of care to them.
  • Efficient handling of administrative matters and in the processing of fees, concessions, refunds etc.
  • Privacy and confidentiality, and secure storage of their records in accordance with our policies, to the extent permitted by law.

Students Responsibilities.

Students are responsible for:
  • Understanding and accepting the enrolment conditions for the courses they undertake.
  • Providing accurate information about them at time enrolment, and to advise us of any changes to their address or phone numbers.
  • Paying of all fees and charges associated with their own course requirements where notified.
  • Recognising the rights of staff and other students to be treated with dignity and fairness, and behaving in an appropriate and acceptable manner towards them.
  • Regular and punctual attendance.
  • Ensuring they attend classes sober and drug free, and smoke only in open areas away from other people.
  • The security of their personal possessions while attending a course.
  • Promptly reporting all incidents of harassment or injury to CHS Administration Office
  • Respecting CHS property and observing policy guidelines and instructions
    the use of equipment.
  • Seeking clarification of their rights and responsibilities when in doubt.
Payments and Refunds

Payment

  • Payment for all courses must be made prior to commencing all training courses.' Pay on the Day’ payments will incur an additional fee.
  • Payment may be made by cash, cheque, money order or credit card.

Refunds

  • Refunds will be given upon request for any course.
  • A 20% administration charge will be deducted from the requested refund. If trainees re-book or reschedule their course there will be no administration costs.
  • There will be no refunds for clients who do not notify of non-attendance, or notify after the course commences.
    • Special hardship circumstances will apply and refunds under these circumstances will be made at the discretion of the Training Manager.
  • Country Hospitality reserves the right to cancel any course due to lack of enrolments.
  • Any payments made prior to the course being cancelled will be refunded in full. Contact Administration 66 42 5559 for further information.
