Q. Why do I need to do a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) course?
A. The NSW Liquor Laws prescribe responsible service of alcohol training for the liquor industry. Any person involved with the sale, supply & service of alcohol in NSW needs to complete a face to face RSA course that has been approved by the Casino, Liquor & Gaming Control Authority.

Q. Can I use an RSA certificate gained in NSW, in QLD and vice versa?
A. NO. Each State has different requirements in relation to RSA. NSW for example, do not recognise RSA certificates from any other state. To work in the sale, supply & service of alcohol in NSW you must complete a face to face course provided by a training organisation approved to deliver RSA by the NSW Office of Liquor Gaming & Racing. Online RSA training is not acceptable in NSW.
