Food Amendment (Food Safety Supervisors) Act 2009 introduces mandatory food handler training
to help safeguard NSW consumers from food borne illness.
The new legislation will require certain hospitality and retail food service businesses to appoint at least one trained
Food SAFETY supervisor (fss) AND THAT THE OWNER OF THE FOOD BUSINESS ENSURES THAT THERE IS A
FOOD SAFETY SUPERVISOR (fss) PRESENT AT ALL TIMES.
COUNTRY HOSPITALITY SERVICES HAS BEEN APPROVED BY THE NSW FOOD AUTHORITY
TO DELIVER THE REQUIRED COURSES.
